Suprema RealScan-G1 is a PIV-certified fingerprint reader with 1" x 1" optical sensor. The compact scanner is intended for using in various scenarios, including desktop usage, mounting into kiosks and mobile kits.
The manufacturer specifies that the device includes hardware for spoof detection called Live Finger Detection. Also specified the IP54 casing and scratch-resistant platen.
The scanner is no longer manufactured. Consider other supported devices from Suprema.
Support modules for this sensor are included in MegaMatcher 12.2 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 11.2 SDK and VeriFinger 12.2 SDK.
Support modules for this device are not included in the newer versions of the mentioned SDKs, including the newest MegaMatcher 12.4 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 12 SDK and VeriFinger 12.4 SDK.
